Hello and happy Wednesday! 
My name is Brandi Crawford, and I am the Volunteer Coordinator for our swim team. As we gear up for our first swim meet tomorrow, I wanted to send a quick note about how the process will go from the volunteer perspective. Yesterday, Jennie sent an awesome message outlining what to expect from a swim meet; I highly encourage you to take a look at it, if you haven’t already. It’s a great resource!

I will be stationed near the pool entrance tomorrow, and will be wearing a name tag. Please sign in with me when you arrive, for all volunteer positions. This ensures that you get credit for working, as well as helps me confirm that volunteers are in their places and ready to go! I will have a name tag for you to wear, so that it is easy for anyone from either team to identify your role. 

If you are an Age Group Parent, I will have a packet for you. It will contain a sign to display in your age group area, so that swimmers and parents can easily identify where they should be. It will also contain a list of your swimmers and their events, as well as a marker and pens. Please return the packets to me at the end of the night!!! It can be a long evening, and I know that sometimes that’s the last thing I’m thinking of after a meet, but getting the packet back ensures that I don’t have to recreate/purchase the material for the next week.! Thank you!!
