Good Morning, Dolphin Families!

First, we want to start by congratulating everyone on a successful intrasquad meet. The swimmers did a fantastic job, and it was wonderful to see everybody get up and race! We are so proud of how far they have come, even in just the first week of the season. 

A huge THANK YOU to our parent volunteers! The meet ran smoothly, and we even got done 15 minutes earlier than expected. So again, thank you to all of the parent volunteers. We could not have done it without you!

Intrasquad Meet Results:

We have attached the results of the intrasquad meet to this email, so please feel free to look at how well everyone did. If you have any questions please reach out!

Disqualifications (DQ):

If you are new to swimming, you may not know that sometimes swimmers can get disqualified or DQ’d from a race. This can happen for a variety of reasons such as a false start or incorrect form. If you see a DQ instead of a time next to your child's name, please do not worry. This is completely normal, especially at the start of the season, and we have taken note of what our groups need to improve upon! Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Copperfield Meet 6/2/25:

This coming Monday, June 2nd is our first dual meet and it is against Copperfield. It is a home meet and will be hosted at the Woods of St. Thomas. We will send out more information about the meet either this evening or tomorrow morning, so please check your email. We are still in need of volunteers for this meet (see below)! If something comes up and either a volunteer or swimmer cannot attend, please let us know immediately!

Volunteering:

We still need THREE parent volunteers for the meet on Monday! We need a Data Organizer for the meet and TWO Stroke and Turn Judges for the 2nd half of the meet. If you are able to volunteer, please reach out and let us know, and we can sign you up. The meet cannot run without these essential volunteers. As a reminder, you must fulfill your FOUR volunteer requirements or you will be charged the volunteer penalty fee at the end of the season. Lastly, the closer we get to the end of the season, the quicker those spots fill up, so please let us know if you can volunteer! We appreciate all of the help, it really makes the difference!

Picture Day 6/2/25:

Team picture day is before the meet on Monday,June 2nd at 4pm, before the meet. The individual swimmer photos will be used for trophies at the end of the season, so please wear a team suit if you have it. There will be a makeup picture day on June 28th.
